I'll hold my hand up Jeff, I've just had it confirmed that Evil has gone to Rochdale, but on a down note Lew has also gone.

Can't say I'm sorry to see the back of Evil. Very bad news about Lew's departure, though. In my view, he brought some much needed fresh ideas to the commercial side of the club.

Agree about evil but wonder if Lew's departure is partly due to a better offer and partly due to frustration

The commercial dept at Burnley is well established and does very well. With all due respect I suspect he will have gone from being a big fish in the commercial dept at Stanley to a smaller fish in the one at Burnley.

I think frustration will probably be the answer.

No, it's on fishy site now - he's on loan with Dale till the end of the season & as part of the conditions of his loan he is not allowed to play against us in either of the home or away fixture with them (not that he'd have made much difference if he had). Glad to see the back of the useless lump - don't really understand why Dale would want him back but ours is not to reason why
