Mansfield Town manager Paul Cox has completed his backroom staff by recruiting midfielder Andy Todd from Eastwood Town as player-coach. Todd who is a former Nottingham Forest is extremely experienced having played for Eastwood, Hucknall and Workshop.
Todd has previously also played for teams like Accrington Stanley, Rotherham and Burton Albion.
Manager Paul Cox said: "Knowing Andrew, he'll want to be in the first 11 every week. He is a competitor and a winner."
Just last week, the Stags named Micky Moore as their assistant manager and the new assistant manager was glad to have completed his coaching line up.
He said: "I would be surprised if Andrew isn't one of the fittest players in pre-season training as he looks after himself immaculately.
"He won this league five or six years ago with Accrington and will be a great addition to the backroom staff, as well as the squad."
