Excitement Plus for the wee Stanley
0-1 after only 2 minutes was a prescription for cardiac arrests at Havelock North STANLEY's match against Maycenvale Hotshots.It was a goal we should've prevented. The kids put their heads down and bums up and were finally rewarded when Andre let rip (a-la Michael Welch style) to finally give us an equalizer.We were dominant but the Hotshots slammed a freekick against the post on the stroke of fulltime in only their 3rd foray into our box.Final score 1-1.
Next week the BIG ONE.it'll be a game that makes BEN HUR seem like a 'fill-in'. ON THE STANLEYS ON |
