Exeter

Match report is now on the official site.

A much better performance from the team today. It was just a shame that we couldn't get the goal that would have given us the 3 points.

Re: Exeter

Yep, fully agree. A great all round team performance and we were unlucky not to come away with all three points. Well done lads !!

Re: Exeter

Fully agree also, excellent performance by the boys. Thought evil was excellent again, totally committed to the cause, i also thought Robbie Williams played better than he has been doing...

Re: Exeter

Yeah, Robbie looked much more assured yesterday than he has been, although I did worry a little when he was switched to right-back!

It's strange isn't it, but this far more positive thread has been open for around 15 hours now and hardly anyone has contributed to it. Last week's moaning thread grew faster than weeds soaked in Miracle-Gro! What does that tell us?

Good point made. In the same vein, there were also plenty of threads and people quick to knock the boys for not scoring in 4 games and we get 2 against a Division 2 (sod off with all that coke crap) side and nothing was said about it... Unbelievable...

Thanks for the match report as ever TM. Good to hear we did well yesterday...

Re: Exeter

Two good team performances by the lads this week, should put a good deal of confidence back into the lads. Unfortunately Craney had obviously been pre marked by Exeter & was kept out of the game otherwise we would have got the deserved result. Keep the training emphasis on defence & finishing John & Jimmy & ignore the knockers.
Don't forget to tell the lads either as praise improves moral too, it doesn't hurt to say well done, keep it going. Every team can have a bad spell, thank goodness it is at this end of the season rather than at the end of it.

Re: Exeter

A better and more committed performance. Rocky is a lot better in the centre of the defence. Still a bit worried about the lack of goals - that's three league games without scoring, but, at the end of the day we have 25 points from 16 games, last season we had 24 points from the first 16 games.

Re: Exeter

I thought the lads played really well on Saturday & were unlucky not to get all 3 points (how did that one of Lee's not go in?). The most positive thing was they were playing as a team again, as they did on Tuesday.

Are you sure you're watching the same games as the rest of us? Or are you getting lost on the way & watching Gt. Harwood!!!!
