have you no friends on your own board? you poor thing....attention grabbing toddler antics on our board to fulfill your needs.
i blame the parents (theyre brother and sister aswell by the way)
this was one game on my 'to do' list for this season as I don't get to many away games any more. I don't know whether there will be enough now to warrant a mini-bus let alone a coach!
What about posting whether you can or will drive down and any wishing to go can share driving duties and petrol expenses. six hours in a car or nine on a coach?
I'd love to go so any offers will be appreciated (provided no coach)

I do feel sorry for the guys that are going to make the trip - Exeter away is usually a good whole day out and a great crack before during and after the game. Very friendly local boozers (I found anyway) but now everyone from Accys gonna be wanting to head straight back up the M5 as soon as.. On the plus side, I get to be able to see one of what is probably Stanleys most important fixtures in 2006... So on a more completely selfish note :
CANT BLOODY WAIT - THANK YOU SKY!!!!

I don't think the 'Jimbo is from Accy' will be heard this time.
Exeter think that the game will really hit the gate, but IMO it will only reduce 100-150 down to about 10 from Accy. Gate of about 7000 I think and they will make some real noise that day. Any spare megaphones lying around?

remember i think there will also be a strong following from the southern fans..... but still not enough to sing exeter out!
The Directors of Exeter City Football club are concerned that the fixture against Accrington Stanley planned for Saturday 28 January has been apparently moved to Monday 30 January in order that it can be shown live on Sky television. Not only is it anticipated that the Club will lose a significant amount of much needed revenue from this 'top of the table clash' (currently estimated to be at least £28000), it will also deny many of our regular supporters the opportunity to be at St. James' Park in person to watch the match.<o ="">></o>>
<o ="">></o>>
For that reason the Club continues to appeal against the decision to move this fixture and has made a formal written request to the Conference asking for evidence to show that individual club's have no say in such matters together with a breakdown of anticipated losses.<o ="">></o>>
<o ="">></o>>
We believe that the system regarding payment to clubs playing at home appears to be flawed. Home teams receive £5000 and away teams receive £3000. Whilst we are very happy that our friends at Accrington Stanley will receive a welcome cash boost of £3000 coupled with the opportunity to raise additional funds through their own Social Club, we do not accept that Exeter City Football Club should stand to lose such a substantial sum.<o ="">></o>>
<o ="">></o>>
The club also believes that as the current contract between the Conference and Sky is to televise matches involved in the 'Championship Race' rather than to cover the entire Conference match season, this arrangement may well, unwittingly, prejudice those clubs at the top of league.<o ="">></o>>
<o ="">></o>>
The Club continues to resist this change of fixture and will keep supporters informed of developments.
