Re: Fa cup
so 4 for me.
8 hours in a car (plus more for road works, average speed cameras, congestion, crashes, queue at M6/M5 interchange) for 90 minutes of football.
Will be more than worth it!

Re: Fa cup
250 miles is 4.25 hours if RAC is to be believed and everything goes well. Roadworks, weather, evening Rush hour through Brum, finding somewhere to park, queuing for ticket ...I'd allow at least 5.5 hours from Accy.

Re: Fa cup
If only. If only. If only. Lets beat Yeovil first before we start dreaming of playing United. We should have beaten them at home .Start being realistic, and stop dreaming.

Use the M6 Toll Road and avoid the M6/M5 interchange

I'm not so sure. It would add nearly 20 miles to the journey, you'd pay £5.50 per car for the privilege and then have to battle with traffic on the M42.

Re: Fa cup
Two sets of roadworks on A303 just east of Yeovil .
One is supposed to finish tomorrow
A303 Eastbound and Hayes End Roundabout Resurfacing. - Road Projects - Highways Agency-
which, if it does, will avoid a huge diversion .
Bu there's a second one at a roundabout a bit closer to Yevil that is down to start in "winter" .

It would be more useful if I got my directions right.
The roadworks mentioned are WEST of Yeovil, where you might encounter them if you come all the way down on the M5, then head eastwards towards Yeovil.
