Well, it looks like we've missed out on a £63,800 first round television fee:
The FA | The FA Cup - Cup ties get TV treatment

Re: FA Cup First rd Draw

well, i have been to afc fylde plenty of times in the past couple of seasons and everything Blackpoolfylde (above) wrote is true. as you might expect.

the nearest station is kirkham and wesham and it is indeed a 4 mile hike away. the club run a couple of free buses from there to the ground. one goes at about 1.00 pm and a second at about 2.30 (for a 3.00 k.o)
after the match the bus does a return trip, but will go via all sorts of little villages etc but its still a nice ride and , hey, it's free!
or you can cycle (i have done that before and its not too bad, but maybe a bit chilly in November)

Parking is an issue. there is a small carpark which is just about ok for a crowd of 4-500, aside of that there is a pub car park which is not really for football fans. and then its just narrow country lanes all around. Sometimes for a big game they set up a separate car park at BAE Warton but that is a good 15-20 minute walk.

I am pleased for both clubs and to anyone going - have a good time. i shall miss it as i am on holiday (actually at Hamburg v Bayern that day, which is as far removed from AFC Fylde v Stanley as you can be)
Home for the replay though
