Recent results
NFSL Semi Final at Neutral Venue Everton 1-0 Stanley Ultras Stanley lost out in a close fought encounter to eventual winners in the Semi Final. Stanley Ultras travelled understrength yet only lost to a last minute goal. Everton beat Rhyl in the final MoM The Duke NFSL League Liverpool 2-2 Stanley Ultras Battle for second place produced stalemate away to Liverpool last years champions. Stanley scored first but were pegged back by a dubious penalty & a tap in from Chris Trow (who had a trial with Marine recently) An equaliser was always likely & SU really should have won with Danny Baker (who came through our Greyhound Ford Juniors Youth scheme) clean through in the closing stages Goals Dave "Bangers" Bancroft & Danny Wilkinson MoM Imran "Clown Hands" VAid On Sunday, SU host our european rivals Wrexham at Memorial Park in Gt Harwood. Kick off at 1pm. Stanley in Navy Blue.... All speccies welcome then Crown for booze after with Mo-ses |
