Re: Findusastriker.com

no and no

Symes was injury prone before us and after us. He was also firmly in the younger end journeyman category. On reflection I think we were lucky and got a great season out of him purely by chance.

Jevons wasn't too bad a few years ago but his best seasons are long since gone. Take his penalty taking away from him and he has scored precious few for a few years

Indeed. But if he's opted to stay in non league and not take a crack at league two then the money must be more than we could ever pay anyway. Ah well, plenty more players out there

Money aside Luton have been a "Big" club, Remember em playing Notts Forest in the Cup Final way back, So they must have more potential n us realistically?

1959. 2-1. Roy Dwight broke his leg. If I recall ...........

That was in the days when the FA Cup Final was more or less the only live football there was. No wonder we all watched it back then. No prawn sandwiches in those days ...........

Re: Findusastriker.com

i'd like to think that we have enquired as to whether Michael Smith can return to us from Charlton on a season long loan

Agreed, would welcome him back. Pity he got injured last season when he was just beginning to fit in.
