Fixtures out on Wednesday

Something to read, while you wait

BBC - BBC Sport: Paul Fletcher: Secrets of the fixture computer

So where exactly does Glenn Thompson think Grimsby is?

Re: Fixtures out on Wednesday

Compared to our local derby in 1992, Grimsby is in walking distance. We were away at Brighton

Re: Fixtures out on Wednesday

And then Sky intervene. How long before Sky take over the whole process?

Re: Fixtures out on Wednesday

one bit of that article strikes me as worrying and weird.

In a business that costs and generates HUGE amounts of money, the fixtures are left to one bloke and his laptop running age old software as a 'side of teh desk job'. Even worse he works for a consulting company that IME of have less of a clue at technology than the telephone on my desk.

Just over 21 hours to wait for the league fixtures - I'm growing impatient now! Have my work diary at the ready to add all the fixtures in!

Mornin' KJ, yeah, except I'm hoping we're at Goodison (or Anfield).

Wouldn't worry about that. If the police don't move the local derby to a 9am kick off then Sky will

Why would Sky be interested in a tin pot local derby involving two of the bottom clubs in the Premiership
