Fleetwood away thread.

One win in last 14 in free fall need 3 points here Coley has a selection headache choosing who,s fit enough and playing well and does he go back to 3-5-2.

Didn't we start 3-5-2 last night at Crewe?

Re: Fleetwood away thread.

Ideal line up for me subject to injuries etc.
Baxter
Burgess Hughes Nottingham
Pritchard Barclay Conneely McConville
Smyth
Bishop Charles

Get McConville back to the position he knows.

Re: Fleetwood away thread.

Just watched Coley's pre match interview and it is good to see him acknowledging that he misses the presence of Accrington fans both at home, but also the much smaller number that go away.

I'm sure we would have had a good number making the shortish trip to Fleetwood supporting our lads......including me!

Well, he's had his warm up game and surely he must be due a goal! I can't remember the last time he scored........?

Re: Fleetwood away thread.

If Barclay, Pritchard and Smyth fit I,d go:-
Baxter.
Nottingham. Barclay. Hughes. Burgess.
Butcher. Conneelly. Morgan.
Smyth. Charles. Pritchard.

Subs:- Savin. Maguire. Russell. Uwakawe. Phillips. McConville . Bishop.

I,d give Bishop a break and just try 3 pacey players upfront.

so would i especially if they have a big defence. some of this type will head the ball all day but struggle against smaller tricky lads.

My only hope is Joe that today the Reds play football instead of merely playing with a football !.

Re: Fleetwood away thread.

I think it might be a diamond midfield:-
Baxter.
Nottingham. Barclay. Hughes. Burgess.
Conneelly.
Butcher. Phillips.
Pritchard.
Charles. Bishop.
Subs:-. Savin. Smyth. Maguire. McConville. Russell. Uwakawe. Morgan.

I am sure he can, but to drop engine room Butcher for Barclay makes no sense to me.
