Football League Show
So we go to Wimbledon, where Peter Murphy scores the goal of the weekend, and what mention do we get on the Football League Show? Absolutely nothing. What a disgrace. To hear that John Coleman and Jimmy Bell are again getting the best out of Bobby Grant....so what. Ok, well I tell you what, we'll just quietly get on with it and climb the league. If we aren't mentioned then nobody will pay attention to us and we'll make steady progress but come on Manish Bhashir, do the right thing and recognise success... The cameras didn't even show our happy little band of 117 going sick when Murphy scored the second...and boy, were we a happy little band.

Re: Football League Show
I have to say it bugs me no end, its also the same on Football by Tony Livesey on the BBC early evenings, i sometimes wonder if Stanley exist n i aint dreaming it. am near sure national coverage would boost the gate a bit.

Re: Football League Show
Sod 'em all is what I say, who cares?
Like others have said let's just keep under the radar and keep putting points on the board. 23 points from safety and all that!
I suppose we can't grumble over the coverage we've had over the years as we've probably had more than our fair share ...

Re: Football League Show
i'm not bothered if its 3rd round or 5th, if we're gonna win it we'll have to beat decent teams at some point

Not seen it but I know from the start of the programme they were already featuring Gillingham who happened to be playing Rochdale. Don't think they can suddenly change location of reporters because Peter happens to score a cracker.
Fairly sure when Stanley hit top spot they will feature, although I wouldn't be too suprised if they aren't featured next week anyway. Apparently the visiting management team had some sort of link to Stanley

Re: Football League Show
Personally, I think we should be happy as things are. Like others, it irks me a bit, but, keeping under that radar and quietly sneaking up the league, lets hope they do not notice us until the end of the season when we win promotion.

Don't really disagree, it bugs me though, cos it may just improve the gates wi fair coverage n revenue is always needed fer clubs at the bottom tier.
