Re: Footy For a Tenner!!!

Does the cheaper ticket option only apply in the coppice end?

Reason being if that end is cheaper than the rest, the pay-on-the-gate fans will choose to go in there and the main stand and clayton end will be alot emptier than usual, where as if all ends were cheaper...

I believe that it is a promotion to get folks into The Coppice End!!! Plus as the ad states, not too many other games on, so aimed at the floating FANs

Re: Footy For a Tenner!!!

Crawley play at home to Hereford next week, so a win will guarantee them promotion.
If they draw or lose, you would expect them to bring a good crowd up to Accrington.
If they do win against Hereford, no need to make the awkward trip up here.

500 max, hence the reason the away end has been opened up

Re: Footy For a Tenner!!!

So what happened to segregating home and away fans? Never mind the floaters?

I also heard they had Evans' leaving do in the phone box across the road from the ground ................

Like this idea. The stevenage game crowd was one of the best scenes ive seen at the crown ground. Both ends and sides full of accrington fans.
