Re: Former Players!
A number of former players are involved in 3rd qualifying round matches on Saturday. Two, for starters...
Lewis Gilboy has scored a few for Bury this season, including two against Lancaster in last week's second qualifying round replay: https://buryafc.uk/match/51450-bury-...ancaster-city/; and four, and an assist, at Padiham earlier in the season: https://buryafc.uk/match/47478-padiham-v-bury-afc/. They're away at Clitheroe.
Billy Kee has been coming on as a sub in recent matches. Coalville have beaten Shepshed and Macclesfield in the cup so far, and are at home to Sudbury.

Re: Former Players!
Good to see Billy playing again. I'd read that he was taking a break the game again over the summer.

Re: Former Players!
Billy Kee came on as a late sub as Coalville Town beat Notts County 3-2 away in the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in front of a crowd of 5,060, with 1,397 away supporters.

Re: Former Players!
Liam Richardson sacked by Wigan three weeks after signing a new three year deal, maybe it read three week contract.

Re: Former Players!
Bright lad Liam. I always liked him, both as a player and manager at Stanley. Not the most gifted player but a whole hearted full throttle left back. As a rookie manager at Stanley he managed to keep us up when all looked lost that season. Glad he's got a good payoff. Did OK at Wigan as well. Yes he had money to spend but that can have its drawbacks as it attracts players with big ego's. He's not popular with everyone on here because oh his connection's with Paul Cook, but you sometimes have to take your opportunities when they come along in the merry-go-round of football and football management. Good luck to him!

Re: Former Players!
I noticed in the Gallery following the recent Stanley v Oxford match a couple of photographs of Phil using crutches. I don’t know the details of his recent health issues but it was great to see him with a big smile on his face.😃 Wishing Phil a very very Happy Christmas and also for him to make a full recovery…….Phil was AWESOME for the Stanley and he also had a spell at Oxford. I am sure everyone wishes him a full recovery.

Re: Former Players!
In the absence of anything more interesting today, Charles, Butcher, Bishop, Windass, and Jackson were all subbed today. Only Charles made it past 70 minutes. Bored….moi?
