Re: Former Players!
Bucko is never 6 foot!!
As well as Tranmere's ex captain who has just signed for York (Mcnulty) Adam was looking rather "bulky" at Wembley
Maybe a summer getting back "trim" will sort them both out??
We'll find out when we visit the Globe on the 27th of August.

mcnulty will certainly fill the shirt that jon parkin left last season at york. as for bucko,s height i think plenty of players must wear really long studs when they are measured.

He's way better than conference level but I'm guessing he'll just be happy to play football

Re: Former Players!
We have signed John O'Sullivan today on a 2 year deal.
Opinions would be welcome. Thanks.

Re: Former Players!
yes Red, if he regains the form he should for us on his first loan spell you have a diamond his second stint for us was not up to that same standard, he's still only 25 so every chance to regain that form best of luck with him, and best wishes to big Kev he's been a real diamond for you, good luck for the coming season

When he's on form, he's an asset to any team - unfortunately that form seems to have dropped since he left Stanley. If Big Jim can help him get his mojo back he could be a good signing, time will tell - nice lad though, good luck to him

Re: Former Players!
I didnt rate him in either stint - thought Maguire made him look good first time round.
Very poor mans McConville

Jim Bentley has the knack of saving players' careers where they have lost their way for whatever reason. Jamie Devitt , Shaun Miller , Aaron Collins , Richie Bennett , Kevin Ellison , Ryan Edwards , Cole Stockton to name but a few.
Jim may well get the best out of JO'S. He was outstanding against us a few years back when we got a whacking at the Crown and Jim will have had that in his memory bank.

a lot depends on which o,sullivan you have actually signed. he did show great promise with us first time around but looked a different player when he came back. its now or never for him at morecambe and if he does not come off his next step actually could be someone like warrington town. he,s got it and its up to jim bentley and himself to bring it back.
