I don't remember seeing him play for us - couldn't have made much of an impression but good luck to him

I think it was when we had eight players on loan just couldn't force his way in, did see him play but can't form an opinion really on a couple of views.

Re: Former Players!
I presume Matt Macey got a cup winners medal for sitting on the bench yesterday. Never saw that coming when we played Northampton.

I've just checked back to January 2015. We lost all four matches that Matt Macey played, conceding 11 goals, including the 5 at home to Northampton.

And all 5 I’d argue were his fault. Awful keeper.

And he is a Premiership keeper winning a medal I believe yesterday maybe he just wasn't interested at Stanley it happens especially with kids was same with a Rovers player forget,s his name who came on loan he just didn't care but was probably at 18/19 earning more than Stanley squad.

Nearly 26 and played approx. 50 senior games in his career.
Just a shame that most of his time has been sat on a bench.

A lot would sit on a bench to pick up a Premiership salary I should imagine some even 3rd or 4th choice probably earning more in a year me and thee see in a lifetime.

Re: Former Players!
Yes Exile we were all great when we started I didn't play in goal much and I did not have a goal against me, mind you the refs gave 7 goals and I swear everyone was offside or the ball was knocked in by an arm - refs eh!!!
