It would add to the quality of the programme if readers learned about the names, careers and 'after life' of ex-players. Les Cocker and John Ryden are names that today's supporters should be aware of - and proud of. No different to Matthews and Morty being referred to in the Seasiders' programmes.

Lutel, Mike Marsh, Eddie Johnstone and, if you're including those no longer with us, Stan Lynn?
Also, there's an interesting connection where some ex-Accy players from 1962, such as Bob Wilson and George Forrester, went on to play non-league with Sankey's in Shropshire, whose old pitch not far from Telford United's, is now, sadly, another housing estate, although the road opposite their former ground still carries the name Stadium Way.
