Re: Fraser Eagle
I would have hoped that the club would have been well aware already that the naming rights to the ground would not be renewed when it expires, so will have been investigating alternative ways 'filling the gap'.
How possible that is I have no idea, but nobody can claim that it's a surprise.

Of course not, but that's why early preparation is essential.

Don't be silly they won't even look for a new sponsor until the end of August.

Could be adding 2+2 to make 4 or could be miles off the mark but they may already be making plans. Possibly a pie shop ?

Re: Fraser Eagle
There are plenty of coach firms about locally who would be glad of the business if asked

I wasn't aware that the team travelled free.
Would you all fit in a pie van?

Re: Fraser Eagle
At first glance, the probable loss of Fraser Eagle sponsorship seems to be bad news. But even though we are constantly being told that these are harsh economic times, surely there is some company out there which will be pleased to be associated with the proud name of Accrington Stanley. The challenge is to find such a company and strike the right deal.
By the way, this was an interesting quote from Fraser Eagle when the sponsorship of Rabat Ajax FC, Malta, was announced last November :
Kevin Dean, Fraser Eagle Managing Director said "I am really happy to sponsor Rabat Ajax FC. Besides having club president Dr. Michael Sciriha as a close friend, Fraser Eagle usually helps sports clubs that are in a development stage and having seen the Magpies getting promoted to the First Division, we are proud to be associated with Rabat Ajax". He also added that Fraser Eagle also had key sponsorship deals in place with Premiership Clubs Blackburn Rovers and Accrington Stanley FC.
