Re: Fraser The Eagle
The lad I take to the matches is only 10 and he used to enjoy watching them, said he didn't but never took his eyes off them especially when they came into the stand later

Re: Fraser The Eagle
TM If you look back or can remember... a couple of seasons ago when the idea was muted by the little girls on here (who dont use it anymore) I was 100% against the idea stating exactly the same things you just said.. I was apposed to them right up to them coming on.. then I couldnt see the harm and if it made some poeple smile then what the hell..

Re: Fraser The Eagle
I do remember you being opposed to it Kipax. You were nearly as vocal as me.

Works at plenty of other grounds so why not the F.E.S. I personally thought they were a more professional dance troupe than some I have encountered and on a par with the lot that Wigan Athletic/Warriors have got. The ones I saw at Chester were a poor imitation as were those I have seen at other non-league grounds last year. No Bring them back I say, they did no harm and were at least entertaining and mostly in time to the music.

Re: Fraser The Eagle
Anyone seen that add where that aged yankee lady is dancing at a gridiron match?(apparently it was internationaly acclaimed). Now what if a bunch of Accys finest over 50s banded together and performed at home matches,(kinda like 'The Full Monty'-without stripping)? They could make some $$$ and be dam entertaining AND develope a bit of a following.Different to your everyday cheergirls....

Got to agree with UKCowboy here, too much intake. I think we should keep to the Cheer Leaders and the Bird; at least they will improve with age. Your suggestion John will end up being more like the Tele Tubby than the Full Monty.
