Frazer Eagle

What is going on with fraser eagle coaches ?? Cancelling coaches to away matches & they are supposed to be our sponsors

Seems as far as away supporters travel are concerned, fraser eagle doesn't step up to the mark upon reports people have said here

Aye yea i went in yesterday and the woman said we have cancelled the coach due too only two people booking a seat but the she said to me that we have had alot of people now comming in booking so thy could of got more people n when a coach is booked they done do another for example wrexham last year we could of had about three coaches going there.

Re: Frazer Eagle

Not sure how they should handle this really...they obviously can't run a coach that is not financially viable but then again many people decide at the last minute if they are going or not..

and that is the tricky dilemma

Re: Frazer Eagle

yea ano but they shouldnt cancle it they have plenty of minibuses dont they so y not use one of them if they dont fill a coach n i think someone should sort the coaches one of the ultras or somthing because i remember going Halifax with them n they got 2 coaches full i think it was and it was cheaper than frasue eagle all they care about is the profit not the fans

Re: Frazer Eagle

As HR has said they are not going to run a coach that is not finacially viable
Minibus is perhaps an option?
But again that could be tricky if you have a late influx of people wanting to travel to a specific game and only have one driver on although I suppose a coach could then be put on?
Probably better to make it clear that there is a specific cut off date to at least give people another travel option if there is no transport?
At the end of the day it is a supply and demand problem if there is not enough demand then there will be no supply.
Maybe an official travel club needs to be set up?
Or maybe a least people perhaps post on here who would be interested in away travel then at least there would be some idea of numbers and maybe even a starting point for contacts?

Re: Frazer Eagle

the problem with running coaches is that you have to constantly chase and harangue people, you have to be at the games the week before and get people as they come through the turnstile. You need to get the money off them there and then to ensure they turn up.

In the Unibond days it was a piece of cake to get 50 people on a bus, you could shout round the ground during the match! But now there are our times as many people but seemingly four times less the interest, you can't walk around the ground to ask people, you dont seem to see the faces in the clubhouse etc. Fraser Eagle should have somebody appointed to the job inside the ground trying to get names. That would be a decent job for somebody ... see teh match for nowt just be there in a specific spot every week where you can be contacted from both stands.

Re: Frazer Eagle

I rang Frazer Eagle on Thursday, the first day open after Xmas. I was told they had to cancel the coach. They did not allow much time if any for people to book, after all we only played on Boxing Day, Wednesday, when they were closed anyway. It would seem to be that the decision not to run a coach to Mansfield had been taken when there were only about 16 booked on the coach for Grimsby. Not good enough Frazer Eagle. As sponsers of Accy you are not giving the fans a chance. I know you are only in it to make money, bur please think of the fans for once.

Re: Frazer Eagle

Guess that would be the Chorley Nissan "mick mobile"

Chorley Nissan kindly provide 2 vehicles ( the bus & a car) for the club's use.

Mick Schultz uses for a variety of vital purposes the bus ( kit to away matches, youth team to training) and the car was used by Lew Carrol.
Guess it's waiting for the new commercial man
