Re: Fulham Stuff!
Accrington Stanley v Fulham,
Saturday 23rd Jan 2010.
Match day arrangements.
Preparations for the visit of Fulham are now almost complete as we look forward to welcoming the Premiership side to the Crown Ground for our FA Cup fourth round tie. Well over 3,000 tickets have now been sold for the encounter, and with tickets on sale from the ticket office up to kick off a bumper crowd is expected for what is arguably the biggest game in the club's history.
Please be aware that there will be one or two procedues in place for tomorow's game that will differ slightly from a normal League Two match day at the Crown Ground:
Tickets and turnstiles
Supporters should retain their ticket stubs at all times as there is reserved seating in both the Main Stand and Clayton Stand, and these may also be used to gain a preferential allocation of tickets should we advance further in the competiion. There will be two match day collection points for tickets and ticket sales:
Ticket office (adjactent to the Stanley Store) - On the day ticket sales to home supporters for Main Stand seating and Clayton Stand seating.
Community office (grey modular building next to main offices) - Press and scout tickets collection, pre-ordered home tickets collection, visiting supporters pre-ordered tickets collection or purchase.
Pubs and lounges
Unfortunately due to increased demand for hospitality in the Buy-the-House Lounge the bar will not be open until the final whistle, at which time all supporters are encouraged to join us for the man of the match presentation. Accrington Stanley's pub the Crown on Whalley Road, ajacent to the stadium. will be open from lunchtime for all supporters.

Re: Fulham Stuff!
From Official site.
FA Cup sponsored by E.On Fourth Round.
Saturday 23rd Jan 2010.
Accrington Stanley v Fulham.
The day has arrived, this afternoon Accrington Stanley entertain Premiership side Fulham in the FA Cup Fourth Round, kick off 3.00pm.
The shirts are up, the lines have been painted and the programmes printed. The Crown Ground is now ready for one of our biggest matches ever, as we welcome a top flight side in a competitive fixture for the first time here at our present home.
Tickets will still be available from the club up to kick off and so there is still time to be a part of what is sure to be a historic day. Those who have already bought tickets are advised to arrive early to avoid any queues and to help build the atmosphere ahead of kick off.
Be loud and vocal today, enjoy the day and be proud to be Accrington Stanley!

Oh aye, I had forgotten the Whinney Hill tip factor! Might just be misbehaving with this still, misty weather, but I really hope not. What happened to the 750k that SITA were supposed to be spending on capping the stink back in November?????????
It seems worse than ever to me. How the local residents can moan about loss of amenity because of Stanley when they are blighted by the big stink from Whinney Hill is beyond me. Maybe its because the prevailing winds usually waft it over to the M65 rather than in their direction. Whatever , its an utter disgrace and shouldn't be tolerated.
