Thanks for that.

I was hoping to come today but I am working fantastically hard at the moment and feared I might fall asleep at the wheel.

Re: Full Match commentary Vs Gills

it made a nice change for me today to listen to the game properly.

It was interesting to note some of Paul Wellers comments.

1) the full backs (in particular Cav) weren't making enough use of the wide men
2) We should look for Mullin a lot less than we do
3) We don't look to get enough crosses in

When the substitutions were made and Grant and Turner started looking to beat their men and get crosses in we immediately became 'dangerous'

He further added that he thinks that we arenm't far off being a good side, as we have the players, but we need to get back to basics a little more.

Weller is quite right. How Miles is starting in front of Turner is a mystery to me.

the thing with crosses, the side we played today resembled the "Harlem Globe Trotters" crosses into the air against sides like that produce Zilch, not rocket science.

Re: Full Match commentary Vs Gills

I thought Paul Weller's analysis was well worth listening to.
