Full-time Festivities?

Are there any plans to have some kind of celebration on the 1st July? Afterall, it's been 42 years since the last time Accrington had a full-time, professional team, so surely there's something to celebrate?

It'd be another good opportunity to grab some free publicity again too!

Re: Full-time Festivities?

Sounds like a good idea to me but I can't think what they could do?

After the unibond seasons success there where not one but two meals organised at the town hall.. One was invite civic reception and the other was 20 quid PP sportsmans dinner with Craig Brown who bored everyone to sleep almost.... When I last spoke to Rob he said there will probably be a sportsmans dinner before the start of next season.. But not heard owt since and to be honest not holding my breath.

The fans team is sponsoring Accy Cricket club V Rishton on the 4th of July(euro final day as well) with lots of other Stanley fans saying they will come along as well, why not make this an unofficial stanley party
