If they are so incenced and seething I suggest they take their collective children to another club then.

just hope leeds learned their lesson about the game. it begs a question though, did they send their lambs to be slaughtered or did the club arrogantly think their kids were better than little old stanley.

Apparently the under 23,s were in a training game against the seniors as there doesn't seem to be any set rules about ages in this competition Stanley benefited in the goals against column and picked up £10000 for the privalige.

To be honest I don't really care about a few parents hurt feelings they need to grow some and realize what a privilege it is for thier siblings to represent such a club with history and heritage.

Re: Game against Leeds u-23,s.
Not sure why we seem to be getting excited over this game. Our players benefitted from more game time together. Any problems there are seem to be with decisions and actions carried out by Leeds United management.

Re: Game against Leeds u-23,s.
Barrow and Leeds drew 2-2 tonight, with Barrow picking up a second point by winning the penalty shoot-out. The result means that a win against Blackpool will see Stanley topping group G.

Sorry, the table's wrong on the BBC site. We'd still go through if we beat Blackpool but not necessarily by topping the group, although Barrow would have to beat us by at least 8 goals to then overtake us.

If Barrow beat us I'd be mortified but if it was by 8 goals I think I'd go into permanent hibernation - just wouldn't cope

If we beat blackpool by 1 or 2 goals then Barrow need to beat us by a 5 goal margin to overtake us.
Only if we won by 7 or 8 tonight would Barrow would need to win by 8 plus.

I'm struggling to understand that. Currently, our goal difference is 7 and Barrow's is nil. If we were to beat Blackpool then ours would be 8+. Surely, Barrow would then have to beat us by at least 8 goals to better our goal difference. But, first, let's beat Blackpool!
