Talking Gary for Wales ???

I have heard a rumour that Gary Roberts is in the Wales under 21 squad !!!

with recent speculation about roberts joining chester i saw a headline on ceefax, "Roberts signs for Chester," My heart sunk, went on to the page and it was mark roberts from crewe..Heart's never raced so fast!

pooldrew..great news if it is true, any internet source for your info.?

Being picked for the England Nation XI im suprised if he is..Although he hasn't actually played for the semi pro outfit..

Paul Parry did it whilst with Hereford and look at him now, full international and playing for Cardiff

If Gary actually plays a competitive game for the England XI squad he won't be allowed to play for Wales.....(I didn't even know he had any Welsh in him!) which would he choose?

It would make sense to play for U21's then he has a chance to play for the a full cap for the first team in years to come.

According to today's NLP, Gary is "checking back to his great, great grandparents to see if there is any Welsh blood in the family", as he is keen to play for the Welsh under-21's.

Far more important from our point of view, the same article also says that Coley turned down a double bid for Gary and Ian Craney from Chester last night. Hope it's true!

I am sure that it don't matter that someone played for the semi-professional (as it used to be) England team as far as the Full National team is concerned.

What about Perkins he played for England and now represents the MoreCumbrian National team.
