Apparently it was his attitude that meant he left Lincoln. He had made a promising start to his career scoring on his debut but there were suggestions that Peter Jackson thought he hadn't pushed on enough to warrant another deal.

Gary took his goal very well tonight, works very hard on & off the ball and got another 90 minutes under his belt tonight

I saw Gary score in the first half of the Halifax friendly at the Shay in July.
He ran his socks off in that match and showed real skill, but he appeared exhausted when brought off early. I'd like to see him much more, but stamina and training seemed to be what were lacking. So it's good to know that he did the 90 minutes. Thanks, Pendle. |
