Re: Gillingham match thread
Never seen a game like that in all my life to be honest.
Shocking defending, some brilliant attacking play.
It really had everything.
Bring on the Shakers next week!!!

Re: Gillingham match thread
I officially have no voice left.
Unbelievable.
A bit of Coley on the fishy site now.
And for those who were listening, yes I do love Terry Gornell, but so does Shorrock!

We started the season with a defence and no attack, we're now an attacking team with no defence. Terry Gornell MOM by a country mile, he ran Gillingham's defence ragged. Don't think he was too thrilled at being subbed.

Re: Gillingham match thread
A Thrilling encounter real gung ho stuff, kamikaze defending, woeful keeeping, but some absolutely excellent possessional football entwined with great counter attacking culminating in some sublime finishes all added to a fantastic spectacle.
If that had been a Boxing Match it would have been one of the greatest fights of the decade and made it undoubtedly one of the best games I have ever been lucky enough to see.
Terry Gornell came of age today and with performances like that he is the "Target Man" we have been searching for...
Fair credit to the Gills for giving it a real go to score four away from home and go away with nothing must be gutting.

Re: Gillingham match thread
Agreed Gornell had his best game for us so far, great to see him scoring regularly.
MOM for me Ryan, AGAIN. Ran the show, his goal will live long in the memory

Re: Gillingham match thread
"I think the lads were just getting caught up in the hurly burly of it and it was pointless shouting on at them because they were going to get confused."
I think we were all caught up in the hurly burly of it, Coley and a little bit bemused by it! Never seen a game like it. Best players for me were Ryan, Proccy (rejuvenated this season), Barnett and especially Gornell who fully desrved his goal. MOM for me
