Goalkeepers
Does anyone else think that we have the best two keepers in League Two?

Re: Goalkeepers
if only we could combine them into one.
Dunbavin never convinced me early on in the season as although he is an excellent shot stopper he doesn't control his penalty area anywhere near as good as Rob Elliot. Robs kicking is a bit suspect though on ocassions (but more occasional than Jamo).
Both of them are great shotstoppers though and penalties seem to be a specialty!

Re: Goalkeepers
Yes,I've got to admit myself. With what I've seen Stanley probably do have two excellent goalkeepers. Are they both on loan?Is there any chance of you signing them on a perminent basis?

Re: Goalkeepers
Hey what about our 3rd choice keeper. Haven't seen him play yet but surely he must be worth a mention coz Coley must have put trust in him to sign him on even if it is only a short term contract

Re: Goalkeepers
Without doubt we have the best two keepers in the league. Dunbavin looked suspect early on, as macca pointed out but hats off to the lad he has come on leaps and bounds and who would have thought that he would become 1st choice over the great Rob Elliot. Both have pros and cons but at the end of the day even the best make mistakes. Just in case there is anyone reading this that is connected to a higher league club, what i said about the keepers was a joke, they are both crap so don't make us an offer for em.

But why kick when he can throw it better than most keepers kicks

It's very unlikely he'll play. Clayton Ince has been immense this season and is the best keeper in the League, and I was very dissapointed when we signed him but he has proven me and many others wrong. 9 clean sheets in 14 games I think it is.
What's the history with Bossu then? He's only played one game for us a couple of weeks ago at Chester but he was also excellent, another clean sheet.

Re: Goalkeepers
Right, it's just that I read on teletext the other week that Clayton Ince had received a 9 match ban for refusing an international call up so thought that our mate Berti could be playing.
He only played one game for us, against Cambridge, at the beginning of last season. Saying he was a disaster is putting it mildly - let's put it this way, the Cambridge fans were applauding him for handing them the 3 points

No, it was a load of rubbish, got mis-reported. It was actually a 10 DAY ban but was dropped by Trinidad & Tobage anyway because they finally believed us that he was injured, which he still is which affects his kicking but not his general play.
We'd heard bad reports about Bossu but he was superb at Chester. Handling was very good. Having said that we have two very good goalkeeper coaches at Walsall so that might have had an effect.
Should be an interesting game tomorrow. We haven't played brilliant away but have been picking up results because of our strong defence/keeper and the ability to take a chance or two.
So like after many games this season I expect your fans to say you were robbed.

Re: Goalkeepers
I remember Clayton Ince playing at our ground in a pre-season friendly once and he said he loved it here and the fans are great. I remember we were chanting something along the lines of "we named a stand after you!!" He was definately up for joining in the banter...but as for the game hope he has a bad un
