Goalkeeping Cover

No news yet on any cover for Bavs ?

We surely can't keep pushing our luck by only selecting one Keeper game after game.

The way our luck is going, somethings bound to happen to Bavs.

Re: Goalkeeping Cover

I don't reckon it's a big thing to be honest. It is rare for a goalkeeper to get injured or sent off and BT seems to think that Merf could do a job there for half a game or whatever (knowing him he'd get man of the match as well). Sign the cover if necessary IF it happens.

The only slight concern I would have is whether Bavs is fully fit after his shoulder op, if he is then no problem.

Whilst i never been his biggest fan, seems ok to me fitness wise.

Re: Goalkeeping Cover

I guess it's a risk for the rest of the first game in which Dunbavin has to be subbed. It might mean an outfield player standing between the posts for 89 minutes, or 89 seconds. After that, couldn't a keeper be brought as an emergency loan? Or maybe young Dawber could be recalled. I'm sure there're plenty of other priorities for Mr. Beattie to ponder at the moment other than 'what-ifs' about cover for Dunbavin.
