Godwin Antwi
hello accrington fans i'm a liverpool fan and i have been following your results evety week that two wins in a row now and two clean sheets. How is Godwin antwi doing at center back he is a player i rate very highy and he's only 18 he looks like a young Marcel Desailly. The coaches at liverpool rate him extremely highly and i hope he's doing a goos job for you guys

Re: Godwin Antwi
Godwin is pretty much single handedly running our defence as of late.
He can read the game like a player with 20+ years experience and will run all day long.
Everyone can see that he's gonna be a big Premiership player one day.

Re: Godwin Antwi
I don't know what you're on Shakermaker!
I'll tell thee the truth Adamski, the guy is far too slow, too heavy to get up for headers (quite important for a centre back), too keen with his elbows. couldn't read a comic and has absolutely no clue how to play the offside trap!
But if you don't want him back after that we'll keep him if you insist.

Re: Godwin Antwi
Adamski - there is no dfference of opinion, the man is truly awesome.
Stanley Convert, we have both Godwin and David Martin till the end of the season.

I noticed Jeff posted similar, but not to end season, does anybody know officially? Is it on the Asian site? Or do I have to go up to Crown Ground and ask the cleaner.
In response to Adamski26 (so many?), Godwin is probably the best defender I've seen in many a year. He gets applause for his tackling, he slipped and recovered so fast the forward didn't get away. He's only played against two of the poorer sides, but am looking forward to seeing him against Walsall.
He's given everybody the lift we needed to stay up, a joy to watch.

Oggy, I spoke to a senior member of the board on Saturday who confirmed, in fact corrected me on the fact that we have Godwin till the end of the season

Re: Godwin Antwi
Godwin and David Martin will transform Stanley's season and avert the spectre of relegation same as Scott Carson did for Sheffield Wednesday last season.
Having them at the back must give confidence to the rest of the team.
I hope Stanley having a couple of Liverpool loans or whatever is the maximum from time to time will become a regular feature.
