Re: Godwin to Hereford
From Bulls News:-
Antwi was offered to Accrington Stanley
Hereford United's new loan signing Godwin Antwi was recently offered to Accrington Stanley but their assistant manager Jimmy Bell suggested they couldn't afford him.
Bell writes a column in the Citizen and he mentioned Antwi in his article published on January 29th.
Godwin Antwi, who was on loan with us from Liverpool two years ago, was one who was offered to us along with Craig Lindfield, but I think that would be a lot of money.
Last summer Chester tried to sign Antwi on a season long loan but failed. He went to Tranmere instead.
"When I heard Antwi had become available on loan I jumped at the chance of bringing him in to play right-back," said Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore at the time.
