Good luck Jamie wherever you go - there won't be a shortage of offers I'm sure, just wish you could have stayed with Stanley.

Re: Good luck Jamie

Thats the worse news for me.. Jamie was our player of the season last year and he is one of my favaroute players as I am sure he is most... When I spoke to him pre exeter he seemed quite upset at the prospect of not playing for Stanley but stated that the offer he had been given meant he would ahve to sell his house and go back home to live

I think JK is a great keeper and I am not saying a word against him... But I prefer Jamie Speare....You can replace the goalie but ya can't replace Jamie .

Very sorry to see him go

All the best Jamie Hope you find a good football home.

Thanks for many things, firstly being a major force in getting stanley into the conference shame it seems you have become a victim of your own success

And many thanks for just being so friendly and human, your interaction with us the crowd will be missed.

I hope you enjoy your time at your next club (lucky sods) as I am sure you have here Remember you will be missed sorely by us all

Re: Good luck Jamie

Someone with deep pockets and short arms should offer him a better deal, never mind transfer listing him. He's probably the best player we have !

Re: Good luck Jamie

Jamie has been a superb player for the club but surely we should now wish him well and concentrate on the difficult task of finding a replacement. Eric and the directors have obviously worked out exactly what the club can afford and the simple fact is that we can't afford Jamie. To start going over budget would be the first step on the rocky path that Telford have taken and none of us wants that. Also, to go back and offer him more would perhaps cause unrest amongst the squad members who have accepted deals that the club can afford.

Re: Good luck Jamie

I hadn't really thought of this before but it was explained to me last night... Players are being offered a decent wage equivalant to any other proffesional decent wage.... BUT. Right now players get a decent wage PLUS they get paid for playing football..

Put another way.........There currently working full time (decent wage) and part time playing football (part time wage)... This is being replaced with a full time job playing football (decent wage)

So although there being offered a decent wage they are losing out...

Sorry... just tryng to explain another point of view re wages

BTW there was one person at the game last night with the biggest smile you ahve seen in your life who got ofered a full time job at stanley.... His dream job I would say

Re: Good luck Jamie

I would give my right arm for the chance to get paid for playing football however if you know you are not going to be picked for the first team and so not get the apperance money things may well be tight for one or two of them

Re: Good luck Jamie

The trouble is there arn't 11 loweiys out there prepared to take that chance.... Its a living... a wage... They come to like the club once there here but I doubt any would drop there standard of living and have less money to feed there families so they can play for Stanley.... Best deal comes first I am afraid........... Players arn't fans mores the pity..

AccyMad... awww come on you can guess.... heres a clue... Not a player
