There was a visit today at Peel Park School by DON, Rob Heys, John & Jimmy and 5 players. It was the fundraiser on the SOS site, my lad says it was great they all signed whatever was required, he's got his shirt, baseball cap and autograph book full of names. The pupils all took penalties for the cause, well done to the club for a fantastic turnout, the kids loved you.

strike while the iron is hot - - - - Peel Park kids complementary tickets for Saturday ? I was only 7 when I first saw Stanley at Peel Park and nearly 60 years and many miles away later I'm still living/breathing Stanley !
I'm very very sorry, nothing about Stanley, very cruel on the kids as they where told to watch. The seahorse story must have been more important, NOT. They did hand out lots of ticket vouchers £10 for 1 adult 1 child.

It was on Sky , I was invited to the school as I retired from there last July and they knew I supported Stanley. There were more than five players present as they came in groups. As another group of players came ,the others left. The children really did have a good time and the Stanley staff were brilliant with them.
The children each took penalties with Winstanley in goal. All this happened on what was original Accrington Stanley grounds , but now Peel Park school playing fields.
