Greetings from NI

We are flying over from Belfast for the Portsmouth game, treating my brother to his first Accrington Stanley game ....for his 50th birthday.
Yeah, we're glory hunters
Question is, where is a decent pub with food for before and after the game?

cheers
John

Re: Greetings from NI

For food the Hare and Hounds on Whalley Rd aint bad and 10 mins walk form the ground, you could break up the walk by stopping at the Greyhound (Samuel Smiths) before the Crown.

It entirely depends where you are staying. If you are in the town centre first the Calder (Smith & Jones Pub) is probably best, then the Wetherspoons.

You could try the Peel Park if you are staying for a while, near the old ground, it has a good selection of ales.

cheers folks, thanks for the heads up. Hopefully our visit will coincide with a much needed win.
Still, if not, a fine selection of Ales will help
