Re: Grim in Grimsby

Henderson gets one back but an Aljofree own goal keeps the Grimsby 4 goal cushion in place.....

That's it Kiwi. I can only put it down to Our efforts in the FA Cup on Saturday....Grimsby's weekend off....and the end of Grimbo's poor run of form and the end of our good run of form....I think that's me done for the evening here, so I'll sign-off Kiwi and hope we fair better at home on Saturday against a must win game against Bromley.

Most teams, and certainly Stanley, gets and gives a spanking or two each season.

As to last night’s debacle, your reasoning is no doubt right.
But, as well as the efforts in the Cup, I’m sure the result of those efforts also played a part.
I bet the thoughts, if not the actual talk on the team bus was dominated by the trip to Anfield. I just hope players aren’t calculating how many yellow cards in the next few games would get them banned or whether they might exacerbate an old injury.
I hope I’m wrong but I’m sure John & Ged will make sure that, over the next month, players continue to know they are playing for their places in every game.

Still hungover from celebrating first the win, then the draw, if you see what I mean ...

Smile Re: Grim in Grimsby

Just watched the low lights and it looks like we had money on them to win

The defending was shambolic - feel for Knowles, but what was he thinking???

Couple of good goals - how did the lad get away with throwing Josh to the ground???

Put it behind us and move on
