Re: Grimsby Match
Conlon thought they would win the game before the penalty!

Re: Grimsby Match
Grimsby manager says tells players not to stick arms up but it was a natural reaction ie it was a pen

Re: Grimsby Match
Just got back and overall it was probably a fair result at the end of a poor game. Sickening to concede such a soft goal so late on, but we looked really jaded tonight and had nowhere near the usual sparkle.

Dead right - they had their tails up towards the end and the crowd were really getting behind them. A couple of late subs could have calmed things down. Feels like a defeat!
We didn't really use the extra man advantage well enough though.

Re: Grimsby Match
Just a quick question for those who attended last night, who was there from the club, i.e. The DON, Rob, Marcelle Etc.??? Just wondered, also where there any songs or banners???

Re: Grimsby Match
Was a poor match, think everyone knew once conlon came off the bench we would score as he always does against us. But once we went ahead we shouldnt of conceded, should of defended and saw the game out. I would have took a point before the game but not in the way it came...

Re: Grimsby Match
I only saw Mark Turner in the away end, but then again I wasn't scanning the main stand for recognisable faces.
There were no protests or any new songs/banners that I saw/heard.
