Re: Ground half full

There were 1200 full seats and at least 1000 behind the goals we were attacking. That means there were only 400 others on the ground.

Seems about right to me.

Re: Ground half full

No knock on the ground security(stewards), just after the second half started it was said the coppice end was full.

Like i have said it's not a pop but, there was plenty of room from t'uther side of th' posts.

Remember the F.A. CUP run folks!

Not quite swing a cat, but comfortable!

Re: Ground half full

Well in the first half I didn’t have room to scratch my arse let alone go anywhere. So I'd hate to be in the middle of the Clayton End with 5000 souls in the ground.

It amazes me how you stand in the same spot every week and some poor excuse for a rock ape come and stands in front of you and blocks you view. 5057? Have they actually ever tried it at capacity? Or as Rob got a faulty Calculator….

Actually, as I didn't have a lot to do apart from a small matter of Supporters' Club business, I counted the crowd .

You'd be amazed to learn just how many . . .

. . . oh, heck ! I've run out of time .

Re: Ground half full

first time I've ever known an end to be closed due to fullness. Annoyed the hell outta me as I couldn't get on to the Accy end 2nd half. Had to try to show the Clayton End the error of their silent ways in the 2nd half. I gave up after about twenty minutes though. I would just like the thank the residents of that stand for the quietest 45 minutes I have ever had at a competitive match. SSSHHHHHHH I'm trying to watch the match......

There was still plenty of room at the Coppice End where we were stood - at the Whinney Hill side.
