Groundhoppers View of Accrington (v Oxford)

Hi everybody,

My first post on here... so please be nice!

I came to watch the Oxford match on Saturday, and did an entry on my blog about it.

Please could you have a read?

Accrington Stanley FC ? The Crown Ground « Gibbo's 92

Hopefully a couple of you may like it!

Cheers,

Gibbo

A good read that...although one little thing needs pointing out!!!

The roof over that wonderous facility that is "The Whinney Hill" Stand was up in non league days!! Think it was even there when we were Unibond 1st Division. I certainly remember taking shelter from the weather in there in the Conference days!!!

Though I always wonder..... when we have gale force winds how that roof stays up!!!
