Re: Guess The Gate - Peterborough

I think the gate will very much depend on whether or not all 119 of the season ticket holders turn out.
You need a serious onslaught on the schools in the area. And hopefully reep the rewards in 6 to 8 years time. Free tickets for the little kids to try and "hook" them.
We are very fortunate in Peterborough. The nearest side to us (higher) is Leicester !! who the hell cares about them? And they are 40 miles away
Villa and the London clubs are the nearest prem` clubs.
Best of luck with yor future

What more can be done, we got a roof, we let kids in free, lowest prices in division - the football just has to get better, there not going to come and watch going off today's performance.
Another thing, why aren't people using the Crown, bet there wasn't more than a dozen Stanley fans in before the game

Image.

The positive publicity or lack of it might be one answer. If we are to be serious contenders then we need to improve in all quarters. On the Pitch, our Public image as a club, our Public image as supporters and Communication on the part of the club.

I think we’ve traded on the (1962) and all that for too long. Our entire image is negative, depressed play on the pitch, cocky want to be players, lack of support from the town, lack of positive support from the council. We had a gift horse last season “44 years and all that” and we let it starve to death.

Look at our friends in the North, Morecombe! The entire town was and is energised, good solid publicity all round, upbeat players, supporters, press. Talk and plans for a new ground, Revitalised image all across the board. Are we going to learn or die off again?
