Guest Speaker For Huddersfield Match

I noticed on the fishy site that the club have lined up a special guest speaker for the Huddersfield game, Paul Fletcher

Apart from the bias of him being one of my all time favourites at the Turf I can highly recommend attending one of his do's.

I know you lot won't expect intelligence & wit from an ex-claret but he does have both

Looking at Pauls achievements since leaving Burnley - ie all the stadiums he has had ideas for and assisted in designing, is this a pre-cursor for a new stadium for the mighty reds? Just a little food for thought

Although I have not seen Paul myself several of my friends have and he comes highly recommended plus having been the mind behind the McAlpine Stadium, I am sure he will pull a few in from Huddersfield as well!

Nice One Lew

I might sound a little out of order here, but if I lived in the Accrington area, I would defo be finding 40 quid to get to that event.I read it on 'fishy' site before seeing this thread and I thought that this package was a ripper.Good luck on this one Lew..

Chaps, although I appreciate the applause, I have to say hats off to Eric and Rob on this one, they really have worked hard to make this happen. I know now I have to fill it, but they have made it so much easier for me and I for one would like to thank them. It's a real coup and really adds to what we are trying to do here on a matchday. Just to keep you informed we do have loads more guest speakers and are aiming to do one every game from now on, from past players to informed football men so keep posted.

Yes, I was there. The room was full and Mr Fletcher was very entertaining. Well done to Lew and the Commercial Dept. Shame that we could not round of a good day with a win, but the lads produced a good performance against a 1st Div side. A couple of years ago we would have been happy with that......expectations have gone up a little.
