Haggis and Paul Beck
Both Accrington Stanley scoring legends in my book.
Does anyone know where Dave Hargreaves and Paul Beck are now, what they are doing and what connections they retain with the club?

Re: Haggis and Paul Beck
I was talking with someone who said they'd been talking with Becky recently and he was still playing in the local leagues, but as a central defender. Apparently he's a better defender than he was a striker, according to Becky that is. I don't think he's been anywhere near the club since he left.

Re: Haggis and Paul Beck
It's true, Haggis is a big Cricket fan and is helping Moon get to grips with the scorebook next week.
( my dad Alick, who has been teaching her is on hols so it's down to Dave !)
So, if you want to see a true Stanley legend, get down to the cricket at Accy !

Re: Haggis and Paul Beck
Paul Beck was at the club a few seasons ago, Phil Staley was there promoting and signing copies of his then new book 'Get Those Sheep Off The Pitch' (which is hilarious by the way) and Beck was signing them as well as he was mentioned in it. If my memory serves me correctly I think we were playing Colwyn Bay that night

Re: Haggis and Paul Beck
I think he was there the night Paul Mullin got his 300th appearance and presented him with the MoM whilst giving a speech about famous number 10's in Stanley history. Which only consisted of Beck and Mullin

Nah, that was Grimmy - although he had to be told about 5 times to get up to present Mully with his award as he was a little the worse for wear

Re: Haggis and Paul Beck
So, to repeat my invite, during the closed season David Hargreaves is always down at Accrington Cricket club , where he devotes a lot of time and energy to the under 15's and is generally an all round nice bloke .
( and got stupidly excited when Rovers scored today !!!)
