Half Season Tickets
Does anybody know when the half season ticket applies from ? Will the Shrewsbury game now be included in that half too ?
I know a certain person will read this, maybe it might be a good idea to change the text for the half season ticket

Re: Half Season Tickets
As well as changing the text, they might want to think about changing the price!!!!
3X Half season tickets at The Britannia = £500.00, whilst I would not go there if I was paid, it is all relevant...... How much at The Turf?????

Expensive, £220 for 11 games at the Turf, or £240 for 12 games, depends which one you buy.
Thats why I asked because it's not clear how many games it covers, unless I missed it. If it starts straight away and includes the Shrews game I reckon thats 15 games.
Seems cheap for the Brittania, but then again you don't see much football at Stoke games

Re: Half Season Tickets
Not sure on all counts, though still think ours is too dear!!! £90 is about right in my opinion! Only £150ish for "Earlybird", so £120 for 1/2 is too steep!!!!

£90 !!!! If it covers the rest of the home games thats £6 per game . That would be a hell of a risk. Do half season tickets really sell in any quantity anyway ?

Re: Half Season Tickets
Hi,
Just to clarify the Half Season Ticket, we currently have the Christmas Multi Ticket which takes us up to January, at this point the Half Season Ticket will cut in. So in this case Chesterfield is the first fixture.
The re arranged Shrewsbury fixture will be included in the ticket giving you 13 matches in total. Whilst I won't defend the price because we believe it is the cheapest in the football league, we cannot make tickets cheaper on average per game than a full season ticket because that then dilutes the benefits of a full Season Ticket in the first instance. We believe that it is close enough to the price on average and that we are trying to encourage multi tickets as a money saving option as much as possible, where and when applicable.
We are also releasing the monthly ticket for January to help our supporters get better priced tickets in affordable chunks as well as annoucing plans for a new central Box Office in town.
The Half Season Ticket structure here at the club is also far more advanced than some of our league two, league one and even championship rivals. For example you can get from information on a website to picking your own individual seat and checking out in around 5 clicks. Compare this to a local championship side for example, whereby once you have seen the information you have to ring a premium number or email an individual and await a response. We believe that we are making the purchase of individual tickets a far more pleasant experience and are now taking numerous Half Season Ticket orders at present with good satisfaction from our supporters.
Better priced tickets for our fans is our main focus this year. (wording and text will be amended shortly on the website to show the start date)

Re: Half Season Tickets
Bradford City are selling tickets for next season at £150 Main Stand, £110 seated & £5 under 11's. It makes our Half Season Tickets look rather expensive at £130. Is this really likely to get more people through the door.

Re: Half Season Tickets
Lew I asked earlier in the year about whether it was possible to add 'money' in whatever form to ones Stanley account and whether in principle this could be the beginnings of an installment process for next years season tickets. Is there any further news on this?
Now would seem an ideal time to start putting funds in and signing up to six monthly payments that would all but cover the price of a season ticket

I think this is something the Bantams have done for the last few seasons, if Stanley were to follow the following may apply
Possible Good points
potentially makes a good Christmas present at a time of year when people may have the money more readily available?
ensures a fixed number of seats already filled for next season?
perhaps brings money in to bolster the squad come January?
from a fans point of view if they get promoted you are paying a cheap price for league one football?
Possible Bad Points
Maybe a case of puting your eggs in one basket from a financial point of view when there perhaps would be a bigger argument for the money being of more use during the Summer when the incomes drop?
Would people be able to afford it at a time of year when they could be financially strectched anyway?
I like Macca's idea of a six monthly term for season tickets but may come at a time that could force the Clubs hands on ticketing too early?
It is something certainly worth looking at, the buying of blocks for a months worth of games is a good one as well!
There are lots of ideas out there and all capable of helping the Club grow!
Good Stuff

Re: Half Season Tickets
I think you've miss understood Neil, the half season tickets only cover until the end of the season, not to next Christmas.
