Half Season Tickets to boost the gates ?

At the begining of this season I was lucky enough to borrow a friends season ticket for the first few games and have since been buying tickets on the day for league and cup games. I wish now I had purchased a season ticket but feel its too late in the season to buy one.

I have mailed the club to ask if they would be interested in releasing a half season ticket around christmas time for the second half of the season. I know come other clubs do this.

I`m guessing for the Clayton end we would be looking at around £90 - £100. They would make a great christmas present and would inturn boost our much needed attendance.

Is there anyone else out there who would be interest in buying one if the club did this ? or is it just me hope not.

No response from the club as yet. Might call in the office after saturdays game.

Re: Half Season Tickets to boost the gates ?

im not following you ? I just though with the big push with the friday night matches recently which boosted our gates then the new fans could grab a half season ticket around christmas time or ask for one as a present ? would be a great way to bring in more fans.

yes mate, they are there at £110 standing, always have been.

but I take the point that maybe there should be a big push on them now that we are approaching christmas

Re: Half Season Tickets to boost the gates ?

Everton do it.
I think its £399 in the park end for 9 games.
Not exactly tempting or value for money.

The club should do it, even i they only sell 20 - its still guaranteed income.
