Harry Stevenson

Have just seen on the club's website that Harry Stevenson has died.
Harry was one those who put their heart and soul into the club when it was being reformed and he will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace Harry - the final whistle just been blown

Re: Harry Stevenson

So sad to here about the death of Harry. I new him through Stanley, as many others will have done. I sat with him in block F on the back row for the last 15 or so years and enjoyed his stories about the club and its history, managers and players. He was very passionate about Stanley and would have been " blazing mad" about losing today's game........" a must win game he would have said before kick off"..........love you Harry, now at peace with the angels. My thoughts are with his wife and family........ I'll always remember his....."Come on you Reds"..when we were under the cosh in the second half. What a gentleman and what a supporter. Gone but not forgotten.

Re: Harry Stevenson

Another Stanley stalwart has gone to the great beyond. Knew Harry not only for his work with Stanley, but also through Accrington CC in the 70s and 80s. RIP Harry. Condolences to his friends and family.
