hi guys

See really now it's all done and dusted for you, but for putting the 'P' on your name.

Well thought since i was still registered here from last season I'd nip on and give you an addy for what is the LeagueTwo forum, didn't want to give you it before incase it cursed you, but it would take a miricle now.

The addy is http://www.leagueportal.co.uk/ if you want to join up, it's been the busiest L2 forum I've been on and probs the most welcoming (cept Quakerz, but cannot have everything).

just sorry Mr Kipax you cannot catch my mug on camera this season because like you we're on our way up a league......what can you say eh, how things change, last season Carlisle vs Forest Green Rovers, next season maybe Carlisle vs Notts Forest.

anyway, best of luck and enjoy next week, sure you'll clinch it then.

Re: hi guys

I do owe you a pint kipax, but fingers crossed we won't play you again for a while. twice we've gone up inlt L1 level and failed in my time, so would like a stint in there. 18 years supporting carlisle and 15 of those as a div 4/3/L2 supporter, so much like you next season's going to be that special unknown season.

mind from that forum i post on, alot seem to be chuffed accy are coming up, so you lot will seem to get a decent welcome, as long as you don't go in thinking you'll walk L2, barnet fans did it last year and didn't hit off very well and have been mocked most of season for it.

and mr spaceman, maybe we shall play again, depends on what both do next year, as i say it's abit of an unknown area for both, been debating on whether you'll do ok or not and think that as long as you can be solid at the back, and go in positive, don't try to change the formation/style which got you there then you can do ok.

barnet's biggest problem this season was the defence leaked goals, then fairclough went and changed to a much more negative approach to games with alot of 4-5-1 stuff, and it drained all confidence and positive attitude from their side.....horrid mistake.

Carlisle have faired well because the defence has been strong from start of season, we ended up near top because by pure luck we got that special 20 goal a season guy they always say you need in hawley, who frankly was crap last season.....amazing how it goes.

Re: hi guys

TBH the way we are playing now we would celebrate any point in L2.. Theers no way anyone here will be thinking we can walk it.. survive will be celebration time... Keep in mind.. first time there.. not bouncing back or anything

I wanted to go to your LDV final but couldnt get a pass... Been to Nantwich for FA Vase semi today

Re: hi guys

Will you be ok to continue next season with what you do kipax?

only reason i ask is one thing you'll find in the league compared to non-league is everythign becomes all crappily commercialised and you have to have a license to do this, and cannot do that without consent and cannot have commentary because it has to be through this, and cannot show highlights as your in that etc, etc.

just wondered with it being a greedy money-based league whether you'll get stopped....suppose you'll just have to find out.

Re: hi guys

I ahve a licence now and will easy get a league licence because I am the club photographer.. I can do what I want with our pics but I wont be able to flit around league grounds like I do here so kipax.com will be the same with pics from our games v everyone else.. but no other league games...

I will keep doing non league and will be applying for a conference licence nxt year but not hopefull... costs when your not doing it for a club ..

So yeagh.. still lots of pics next season

Re: hi guys

Well done to Carlisle and well done to the people of Carlisle for coming out in their thousands to support their team. I have many mates who are Carlise fans and the 90's where a living nightmare for them with a chairman from hell!!

good luck next year and thanks for the advice
