Hi, Newcastle fan here - Newcastle Fans thread
I was wondering what Accrington would be like for away fans. Are there any pubs that are likely to serve away fans? We have quite a reknowned drinking following so any help would be recommended!
Secondly, how will Accrington be for getting back to Carlisle via train? Will there be trains to Preston after the match, at about 10pm (or later if the match goes to extra time)?
If I could get an answer to either of these questions, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Cracking tie for both teams I feel. We've never been to the Crowd Ground (at least not with a first XI in competitive action) so it should be a fun tie!

Newcastle fan in peace
Evening,
Looking forward to the tie and hopefully pre match drinks and banter, on that subject, as I should be down for the game, where is the best for a few pints before and after?
Also what sort of ticket prices do you lot charge? There should be a decent turnout for us so should be a good money spinner, and we're generally sh*t away from home so a chance of progression for you.
Anyway good luck for the game and the season ahead.

Re: Newcastle fan in peace
See the thread Hi, Newcastle fan here. All your answers are in this thread with the exception of ticket prices. These will be announced by the club soon I should think.

When season tickets are advertised for sale it is always stated that season ticket holders will be given priority for all-ticket matches. This is what happens at most clubs and has done for as long as I can remember so I cannot understand why people are complaining.

It wasn't a complaint, I was saying it's the only reason Newcastle won't sell out the Crown ground, because season ticket holders do have first choice. I think when they go on general sale a lot of the tickets will be bought by Newcastle fans.
