when we played Halifax at home,,,,,,,,,


two blokes on the door (stanley fans), stopped us and checked that we where home fans, and where very intimidating indeed, was not impressed

Its everywhere now, and films like "Green Street" glamorise it
Clothes that i would consider ok, have been now linked in this thread with hooligans
Im proud to be a Stanley fan, probobly the only club in the country that doesnt have fan trouble associated with it :engsmil:

after the halifax game last year one of the halifax fans that came into the crown had a slash on the carpet against the wall in pub itself not the toilets, that could have some bearing on why people were outside the pub that day.

Just guessing though.

I can understand your concern but, imagine how the 2 lads on the door felt having to keep turning away halifax fans. I bet they had been called all the names under the sun before you turned up bud.

Don't let it bother you that much mate. End of the day you could have been anyone carrying anything.

Iv'e only seen a few lads on the door of the Crown 1 or 2 times, both were extreme circumstances where anything could have gone off.

Luckily nothing has(to my knowledge)

they are called BOUNCERS employed by the pub to stop all this malarky your on about ....pmsfl......never been in a pub before ?
