Hull / Burnley ovation

My brother is a Burnley fan [ sinful ] and was at Hull watching the game. He said the best moment of the day was when they announced over the tanoy that Accy had won, and were now in the league. Everyone stood, cheered and applauded, a wonderful sight to see.

They still feel guilty about the part that Butcher-Bob Lord played in Stanley's 1962 difficulties.
Perhaps now they'll feel able to forgive themselves

Why would we want to do that? If Rovers fans want to see our trophy they can make the effort to come over to Stanley next Saturday

Re: Hull / Burnley ovation

I remember going on a tour of Ewood when I was at Primary School, seen Alan Shearer getting in a lift

The trophy room is quite big, but absolutely empty lol
