Re: Ian Harte free agent
Looks like he's not coming to the FES either ..............
St Mirren are lining up a move for former Leeds star Ian Harte, according to the full-back's agent.
Harte, 31, would be available for free outside the transfer window after leaving Blackpool earlier this month.
Agent Willie McKay told skysports.com: "Ian is going up to St Mirren to speak to Gus MacPherson about a possible move.
"Gus is interested in signing Ian and Ian will have a look around the club and probably watch their Scottish Cup game with Motherwell this weekend.
"Ian is a great Bosman as he has great experience having won 60 caps for the Republic of Ireland and played in the Champions League with Leeds.
"He has just turned 31 and his CV is outstanding.
"He only left Blackpool as their other two left-backs were coming back from injury and they could not afford to keep him.
"There are some other SPL sides tracking Ian and also some Championship sides as he impressed during his time at Blackpool."
I'll ask his mother-in-law ............
