Re: Ilyas pulls out

Many thanks Ilyas for all your help.

It looks like you have been treated badly and probably insulted once to often.

I believe you are 100% Stanley and believe and hope that you will be helping stanley in the league in the future.

My hopes are that it will happen this season.......

posted in numerous places but Mark Turner, Bill Holden, Geoff Heap, Jim Kenyon, John de-Maine and formerly Peter Marsden. Frank Martindale is also listed on the woefully out of dat fishy site (see club details) but we know he stepped down at the end of last season.

Yep I looked at that Rob but it looked out of date. I just want those people Mark not included to please explain to Jack Barrett tomorrow night just why they are so intent on destroying in a matter of weeks what took years of sweat and hardwork just to get where we are now.

I think you'll also find that out of those directors listed, John DeMaine probably wasn't present due to his ongoing health issues. He hasn't made some recent home games so I seriusly doubt he went all the way to chesterfield.

Would a co-chairman not be a director ?

very worried now thers no way we will raise 200 grand through the sos fund but we dont have a lot of choice but to continue and do our best. Thankyou Ilyas for your efforts i have no faith in mr o neil at this present time maybe we should prtest tomorrow night for the first 10 minutes of the game by standing up in the seating areas and sitting down in the standing areas and being silent at the same time

Re: Ilyas pulls out

Stanley Ultra. May I offer you some advice ? We are all (and i mean all, no matter what we might think of oneil, or me or anyone else), united by our love and passion for the club. On that basis, please would you consider NOT doing a public protest at the game ? The reason I would ask you to re-think is that the players ultimately align themselves with the crowd, and it is very easy for a gesture aimed at the management (such as yours might be), to be mis-interpreted. The ultras and all long standing fans deserve to have a say in the club. You deserve to have a say, but I would ask you to think about more dignified ways, and more appropriate ways to express your fear and your frustration. I do not think there are any fans more deserving of a happy future than Stanley, so I fully support and understand your position, but a protest at the game will not, in my humble opinion, be a good move.

I, of all people, have a problem with the way that oneil has continued to decieve and mislead people. But even I have stopped short of turning my anger towards the club itself. Nothing, ever, should be turned towards our players and fans. So, young man (if i may call you that), please shout loudly and cheer for our team. And then find other ways to express your issues with the directors. Post on here, write them a letter, go visit Rob Heys, or simply bang your head against a wall (i can show you some good brick walls in accy and ossy).

Again, please dont misunderstand my points. I love your passion, but a protest on the ground during a game is not right. Not for our club, not now and not ever.

I agree i will not be able to turn up to the games until mid december when the club will still be here. Turn up sing and be proud of watching Stanley sing Coleys name jb's name.

Given the fact they have received a donation of 25K today you would think the good news that takes it over the 100K mark would have been given for update straight away
